Hello, my name is Karen Wihlon, I am from Charlestown, Indiana. My work at home business is Maggie’s Daughter. Recently the company I worked for went out of business, and I was having a difficult time locating a job. During the process of looking for a job and out of sheer boredom; I was looking for something to do. So I headed to the garage and started painting and playing with an old armoire. Before I knew it I had a business.
Maggie’s Daughter
I have always been drawn to being creative and take a lot of joy and pride in the things I do. My mother whose name is Maggie was a very talented lady. She sewed, crocheted and could make just about anything. I am my Mothers daughter hence the name Maggie’s Daughter.

What Karen does is fabulous. She is repurposing furniture that would otherwise be thrown away. This is great for our environment and she has beautiful work.
